Architect for Digital Solutions at INCM, the Portuguese Mint and Security Printer, working closely with sales and delivery teams to design and deliver customer-centric solutions in identity and authentication for people and things. Until recently, he was responsible for the systems and PKIs supporting the issuance of passports and national identity documents.

With extensive experience across leading Portuguese consultancy firms and European Union projects, he was a key member of the team that conceived and launched the Portuguese eID card (Cartão de Cidadão) in 2007.
