Mario Stoltz

Mario Stoltz is a product manager at NXP Semiconductors with over 15 years of experience in secure microcontrollers for national identity applications, including ePassports and eID documents. Since 2007, he has worked across the full security stack, from secure hardware platforms to native and JavaCard operating systems, through to application-level solutions. He combines deep technical knowledge with a strong understanding of large-scale identity ecosystems.

Before specialising in security systems, he worked in fibre-optics communications, integrated optoelectronics and electromagnetic compatibility. Mario holds an MSEE (Diplom-Ingenieur) from the Technical University of Hamburg and is recognised for his long-standing contribution to the advancement of secure digital identity solutions.
